I was confused when I heard the word 'service' used with these agencies.

Internal Revenue 'Service'
U.S. Postal 'Service'
Telephone 'Service'
Cable TV 'Service'
Civil 'Service'
Public 'Service'
Customer 'Service'

This is not what I thought 'service' meant.

But today, I overheard two farmers talking, and one of them said he had hired a bull to 'service' a few cows.

BAM !!! It all came into focus. Now I understand what all those agencies are doing to us.

How true your thought is....it reminds me of a complaint I have. WTF does Full service mean at the gas station. Those nice old men used to pump my gas, wash my windows, check tire pressure, & on occassion give my kids a sucker....& I used to tip!!! Nowadays...punk ass kids work there and you're lucky when they manage to pump the gas right. Ya get no friendly hello, no window washing, no tire check. They usually go over a bit on the gas and dumbasses expect me to pay the 3 cents for their error. So I ask...What does FULL SERVICE mean these days???

(sorry...had to vent)
