thank you sweetie....mine does not have a removable battery but I did indeed put it in rice for two or three days...and I also shook, hand dried and immediately used a hair dryer on cold to get as much out as I could. It appears to work for the most part cept the contacts for charging on the bottom seem confused about attaching another device to it....non compatible no less...but for now luck is on my side.
