I have decided to write an essay about military moves and all that goes with it .

Im asking that if any of you have been or are in the military or maybe if you know someone... give me topic ideas or points to consider.

So far Im going with

rank/grade = how often you move
pack up day (what NOT to pack)
COLA
sponsors
DLA
TLA
car shipment
household goods shipment (motorcycles are household goods)
new command info needed info before you arrive
your month off( to move)
your plane tickets incl animals
what did they do to my stuff? ( unpack broken/missing shit)
paperwork for overseas move, how to fill it out, classes for it

Ok any other ideas?

Getting info about the area you're moving to ie climate, rental rates, activities

pay difference between moving yourself or having the military move you

how youre credit will affect the options you have for residences.

have rental referrals ready (only ran into that once though)
