I've only ever broken my ribs (They are still broken actually, i never got em fixed) before and that wasn't so bad but it hurt to breath...but i can't imagine breaking something as big as a arm bone.

Are you in a hard cast? Its gonna itch and smell bad . if you buy ( from the dollar store) the cheapo trash bags, they fit OK over the arm for you to shower. To cinch the bag upon your shoulder, try using a ponytail (scrunchie) holder.

What did they give ya for pain? T3's? Perks?

Only in a splint right now, cast monday or tuesday.

they gave me vicodin for pain.

my nephew, i can only assume my arm broke for the same reason my hip broke, i was on high dose steroids because of GVH, which left my bones weak, i mistakenly thought enough time had passed and it would be ok

Ok Im not going to answer for Stone... b/c thats his busines if he wants to share or not.
I can however tell about mine. I have cadaver parts in my knee. Allograft is a foreign body being introduced into it. In my case a dead guy's knee parts were added into my body, thus making them my parts. My cadaver knee.

The human body has its own self defense mechanism. It detects germs and viruses.. even foreign stuff( like allografts) . The body automatically rallys an attack in order to kill it and wipe it out of the body. Much like when you cut yourself and you get a scab. Thats the body mounting an attack. it creates the scab to ward off further infection, and stops the bleeding.

What is medicine? Medicine is the cavalry. The body will throw its own infantry .. but sometimes cant win by itsself.. so add medicine( cavalry) and then you have a chance at a speedy recovery.

Adding velcro makes it removable but when it's on it's just as good at keeping your arm immobile as plaster casts.

The up sie is you can still wash without worries of ruining it and you can wash your arm so it doesn't stink like a mother fucker.

I had that on my arm when I tried to block a ball bat and got a knight stick fracture and shattered elbow for my troubles.

She pokes right on the spot where its broke and says "I don't feel any irregularities in the arm" :eyeroll: So she says i need to have some x-rays done, i'm like thanks, u sure as hell need to since u cant seem to notice my arm swinging to and fro above the elbow

He asked why I was there. I said I have a broken jaw.

He says no way. You're talking and that means it aint broken.

I asked to get an xray anyway because when I bit down, my teeth on my lower jaw rolled inwards.

After the xray I get called back and he says, well it seems you have a broken jaw.
