I started out with a few thousand bucks about the same time the "The cheating casino" thread surfaced, I've turned it into over 113,000 since then playing video poker.

The cheating was mentioned in reference to Blackjack.

I've been up and down on the Video Poker game. It seems as if the odds on it are set to allow winning and loosing.

The Blackjack game however seems to be set too high for the house. I've seen the house get six or seven blackjacks in a row. It's never let me have that many.

Though I have won on occasion at Blackjack, I've lost too many times.

Can you not set the odds a little more even? Or can you adjust the games odds at all?

I seem to remember storm saying there is nothing he can as far as tweaking the game. I can't do shit, I'm a player like the rest of ya.

If it can't be adjusted, then there is nothing that can be done. I don't remember him saying that though, just something about not wanting to devalue the credits. Truthfully, it's no big deal to me, it's just a game. It would be nice though if the odds were a little more realistic.

I think it was said in the chat box when somebody asked about it. Ya just have to remember, its for amusement only. When you start getting upset about losing madeup credits ya might need to take a step back. Not saying you are, just sayin.

I understand what you as saying and I agree, that's why I said: It's just a game. It's not worth getting upset about.

After playing Blackjack for a while and seeing that it's odds were off, I tried the other games and learned that the Video Poker game seemed to have the best odds.

I`m going on a whim,so bear with me if I`m wrong.

Admin has control of the credit system,not the casino itself.When he was speaking of "devalue" of the credit,I believe he was speaking about the suggestion of raising the credit value of a post..

Stone, a couple of things.

First, forgot to say congrats on your winnings. Impressive.

Second, I wasn't complaining. Just commenting on something you brought up. Sorry if it seemed any different.


LD, thanks for the link, that was before my time here.

And thanks for the info, as I didn't know if Admin had the controls for the Casio or not. I had been wondering. As for the credit thing, that's the way I remember the conversation also.


All in all, I enjoy the casino and the arcade and would like to thank the Admins for providing them for our enjoyment.

I have Hoyles Casino and it has a more aggressive house than here.

the trick (and you'd think I would be able to live by my own advice) is to know when to go to the buffet and cool off that "gambling fever"

fun no matter what since it's make believe

19 credits to 700 in about ten minutes playing vidpoker and blkjck

(I'm still gonna whine and prostitute mysef for credits when I lose...js)
