BAD ass flick..went n saw the early matinee yesterday.

Has a sci-fi feel to it, yet it's filmed like a documentary related to Blair Witch or Cloverfield. Also is realistically modern, and doesn't have relentless elements that make you say "wtf is that shit all about?"

The story line is followable, not confusing like The Matrix series. You only need to watch it once to understand it. The aliens are satisfyingly detailed and show human qualities. Yeah, they can jump high, yeah they're a bit stronger than humans, but they can't fly around like super man blowing shit up with their heat vision or whatever.

The only thing I didn't like about it is that it isn't original. The whole 'alien invasion' line is completely blown out of proportion, but then again in these days and times, there isn't really much room left for a genuine original idea anymore....but a better script and effects than the predecessor.

Effects: 5/5
Audio: 5/5
Storyline: 2/5
Originality: 2/5

Overall score: 3.5/5

It's a really decent watch, but it's unoriginal. Once would be enough for this film.

I saw a theoretical version of it last week, damn good movie. The only thing bad about it was the alien subtitles were in Russian. lmao I'll buy the dvd when it's released and watch it again.

I enjoyed it, but alas, I also wound up with the accursed Russian subtitles.

I thought it was a great movie. Peter Jackson takes time with his movies, something a lot of directors don't seem to do. The aliens were portrayed pretty well I could understand most of what was going on even through the Russian.

Don't download this movie. It's better than that. Shell out the 5-6 bucks to actually watch it.

There have been several movies about aliens being taken in and becoming a race among humans. Aliens and V just off the top of my head.

Boo and I went to see it the other day. VERY original flick. Kudo's for that.

That being said, while I enjoyed it, she would have been perfectly happy to walk out. It did get a lot better in the second half of the film, though.

Decent premise, but hard to figure out how such an advanced species couldn't prevent the humans from bringing them off the mother ship in the first place - faulty plot line there, I guess. Also, I think I would have preferred it if the aliens didn't look like Predator fucked a Centipede

haha another for original! i think the "cutting" they did to get into the haul was bullshit there is no oxyacetylene torch that's is going to cut more then 36 inches or more by the looks of it
