Not exactly sure what I think of the whole prediction thing . What I do know is if something is going to happen there's not a lot We can do about it . I won't be counting days or loosing any sleep over it that's for sure .

Well if the world ends on December 21st, 2012, I’ll guess I will save a bunch of money on Christmas that year.
There's some that say the end is NOT nigh, the date marks the beginning of a new age of enlightenment.
Hey, I'm good widdit!
I'm like that. All about an age of enlightenment kinda thing.
But then there is that whole upcoming solar activity Nasa is predicting, the Earth's magnetic this and that reversing...could be some things to consider.
If there is anything to any ovit we can't say we were taken by surprise. Seems to be be ever'dern place you look lately. Hiding in plain site or merely a saturization for commercial opportunity...(the latter more likely)
lol...I keep hearing this advert on the radio for "survival seeds"...."Bummer about that whole life as we knew thing, but hey...in a few months we have some veggies!"
(does that sound cynical?)
"My Grandparents survived 2012 and all I got was this T-shirt!"

Let me be the first to point out here, that the same people who made this prediction, felt that it was the greatest honor to be selected to be murdered. The reasons for this murder were, of course, very wise...bringing the rain for instance.
Lending any credence to this prediction is the epitome of superstitious foolishness. Y2K at least had a grounding in logic.
...and didn't Y2K turn out to be a whole year off after all the hoopla anyway?

...and didn't Y2K turn out to be a whole year off after all the hoopla anyway?
As far as I know, Y2K was about an unforeseen "bug" in the worlds computer systems dealing with the machines not knowing the difference between 1900 & 2000 because of the common date format X-X-XX.
all I know is I wiggle my mouse and HERE Y'ALL ARE!

Correct, Storm - I was there.. no one in the office knew what to expect, but we didn't do anything of buy any special software.. we just waited.
The next day? Business as usual - a total non-event

Left.....I can promise you 100% that you don't need to make "comet" preparations. It just ain't gonna happen.
And....about that vinage....I could tell you the name of some stuff that you spray on the greenery that will send it to viney heaven in a hurry. It's safe and effective, and you just need a Lowes pump sprayer to put it out.
um...ok?
(now might have been a good time to share)

RoundUp for Poison Ivy works pretty good on tough vines. Might have to apply two or three times though.
I've just come in from spraying it on mine.

so if you have seen the movie the earth quakes and shit are all from the poles reversing, i was watching a show on plate tectonics they can tell the ocean floor is expanding but the reversal of the poles every 850,000 years or so. the reversal leave what look like stripes on the ocean floor seen thru a magnetic scope. one way i could think to see if the poles were going to shit soon would be to get an adverage size of the ocean floor stripes and see how big the lastest one is, and calculate the time left or what not. but seeing as we can trace plate tectonics back further then 850,000 years i doubt any thing like the moive would happen

Poison Ivy and other woody stem weeds are hard to kill. Sometimes, even 2 or 3 applications of Roundup won't kill it. Something better.......Brush Killer. It's a different formula. It takes longer to work, but it kills completely.
There is a little problem with it though......If it spills or drips a lot on the ground, it will enter ALL plant's roots and kill them.....so you wanna make sure to just spray lightly on the green parts. If you've got some tough stems or vines to kill, you can cut off the stem and apply ONE DROP of the stuff onto the fresh cut stem. It WILL go down and kill the root.
Roundup makes their version of it....It's called Roundup Poison Ivy and Tough Brush Killer. Good stuff, but don't drip.

Left....That brush killer takes care of all those little trees, the vines, grasses, any damn thing you spray it on. Just don't cut the greenery first. Mist it on and you'll be soooo happy.
