Almost home.... er.. Virginia anyways.
Although not home.. Virginia is a taste of mainland.. and i'll take all i can get!
Wont be but a month before I put foot on mainland! Yay! Cant wait! We're planning on buying a home in Williamsburg, and hubby starts his civilian job mid september.
I miss FOOD! I want Wawa and Golden Corral ( or any buffet) .... REAL FOOD!
I miss descent prices.... not the over priced crap I get here.
I want the street names and advertisements to be in ENGLISH! Kinda sucks trying to watch the nightly news and have it subtitled in english.
I want things to be "normal" . Not hawaiian.
I dont want a flower necklace.. had ENOUGH of flowers! getting Laid means sex.. not lei'd as in flowery necklace.
OMG! I am soo ready to get the fuck outta here!
....would it be premature to say?
WELCOME HOME!
...and thank you for your service.
God Bless You

Welcome back to the mainland. Tell you hubby thanks for me also. And that yes he did much more than the other guy. He joined, he served. Most other guys don't do either. And thank you for putting up with being a military wife and all that entails.

Sorry, Golden Corral is nasty. So was the place it was before that.
So does the military drag your crap back here, or do you have to find someone to do it?
If you can pack it on pallets, I can prolly get you a deal.

The military has contractors that packs and ships it Toao. They crate it and put it in cargo containers.
My dad was military, but unfortunately, we never got to move around.
