A Point About KUDOS (Reps)

If you don't sign your name to your reps.... I can't give reciprocal reps.

It makes it impossible to truly appreciate the person for thinking enough of your post to send KUDOS...when ya don't know who they were.

Actually if you scroll down in user control panel past subscribed threads you can see rep and given by whom .

Um, I thought reps were given for somebody posting something cool and the like. If they are going to be returned just because they gave them to you,..kinda defeats the system doesn't it?

Reps should be earned,..not just given because they gave them to you.

Now despite the fact 4nik8 and I have some "issues" here,...he does now his shit in some areas of programming and the like on forum stuff,and he is an old reg here.

But the way I see it, is if I want to boost my rep points,..all I have to do is boost his, or somebody else's,..and I gain, without or never having to post a thread where I earned any.

It makes the whole point of Kudos worthless.

I try to remember to sign mine, but if I ever forget it shouldn't be too much of a problem to figure out. I'm the only guy who can give that many Rep Points.

As for regular users not being able to see who gave them Kudos, I know that there was a reason I took that feature out, but for the life of me I cannot recall what it was.

As for anyone who might have a problem with my tongue in cheek comment about reciprocating KUDOS, the true nature of my intention of this thread was to let people know that without signing their reps:

And I have another question. How does one lose the "junior member" tag? A certain number of posts? Or after a certain amount of time?

As for your user title , Go to your user control panel , click " Edit your details " The second frame down has a window " Custom user title " Type your new title in the space provided and scroll down to the bottom of the page and select " Save changes "
