I for one, look forward to serving them to the best of my ability. So to prepare, I've arranged a test of my compatriots' ability to recognize them on site.
I've put a reference to ten (10) of the greatest computerized movie baddies in the following image. The first member to properly identify all ten by proper name, and the film(s) they are from get's an undisclosed reward.

Some may be just a little too subtle, but that's what makes it fun.

Colossus rocks,..one of my favorite films.
I also see Tron,Terminator, Hal, Borg, the one from I Robot,...I have to do more thinking on the other ones.

I haven't the foggiest.
Except for the icons, I recognize no one.

Very good, you've stumped me with several and I'm a big Sci-Fi fan. I've seen all of them, but I can't remember some and am not real sure about a couple of the below:
? / Star Trek,
Colossus / The Forbin Project,
?,
?,
Borg / Star Trek The Next Generation,
Hal / 2010,
? / Tron,
V.I.K.I. / IRobot,
The Terminator / The Terminator,
Far Point Station / Star Trek The Next Generation (?)

OK, well, it seems that in an attempt to not make it too easy, I've made it too hard. If hard cores like Busch and Baldy are stumped, I guess I'll give.
The list goes as such;
Clockwise from top left to center:
Master Control Program - TRON
Colossus - The Forbin Project
The Red Queen - Resident Evil
SkyNet - Terminator
V'ger - Star Trek
V.I.K.I - I, Robot
Job - Lawnmower Man
WOPR/Joshua - War Games
HAL - 2001 A Space Odyssey.
The Matrix - The Matrix (background)
Busch and Baldy both get Reps and $10k in credits for giving it the old college try.
One question though...where do you guys see the Borg?

I recognize nary a one. And judging from their appearance, I think I'm happy with that.
Sci Fi isn't like what it use to be.

Ummm...6 of the 10 films are WELL over 20 years old, not to mention some of the finest Sci Fi ever written.

Were you serious about the Borg question, Storm?

"Resistance is Futile"
I can see that, I guess. But that phrase greatly predates the introduction of The Borg.

LOL....I haven't watched much SciFi since the 60s. I've never seen Star Wars or ET, and only watched a few episodes of Star Trek, although I have met Spock.

Yeah, I was. I made a point of not including them, because they are more of an organic creature. The fact that they were seen in spite of that kinda tripped me out.

Popularity and the average memory length contributed quite a bit.
Not to mention exposure.
I've never heard the phrase in reference to anything else.

Same here, I think most people would think of the Borg before anything else also.
