so the begining of the week there has been notices that people in my building were getting kicked out, i was anticipating it to get our neighbors patio set. but i went on on my patio to smoke a cigar and i noticed the maintenance men loading a pick up truck with a big tv. I get basil to ask what there doing with it. they guys say they cant give it to us, but once it hits the corner its fair game. so i get dressed and run down to the corner, about a block away, i pass the maintenance guys coming back for another load as i go. while walking i am calling my friend with a truck, he is at work but is gonna call one of his friends to see if they can help me. while he is doing that i am standing on the corner with a tv about 50 inches. so i try to lift it to see if i can do it by my self, i notice that it has wheels. so i start pushing that bitch home. I get to the bottom of the steps with it(i live on a third floor) and realize that i doubt ill be able to do it by my self. my friend calls back, and tells me id need to give the guy who could help me 15 to 20 bucks. i didnt have the money so i wanted to see if i could do it my self.
I push the tv onto the first step, then flip it on its side and taking three steps, then i flip it again, now its upside down , but on the first landing. I continue this all the way up the steps. get it in my apartment, and pulg it up IT WORKS! its missing the stereo cover, and protective glass. so i go to go back and look and there is a family standing there looking disheveled, so i trun around and go home, on my way to work i stop and get the cover and glass use the coast was clear
pics to follow

I'm torn between feeling sorry for the "disheveled family" and wondering why the hell that someone in a position to be evicted, owns a 50" tv.

I had the same thought. Then wondered..how old is the tv?
It has to be old, we have the flat tv's, and the first thing I noticed about em is the weigh nothing.
I was once offered a piano at a job, but we had to take it right then. So I had my helper help me carry it down a flight of stairs. I remember his first response was "is it nailed to the floor." I was on the bottom, and at every step, he would set it down, and threaten to stop, leaving me holding it by myself while I threatened to kill him if I lived through it. When we were done, I dropped him in Lennox and told him to find his own way home.
Lennox is very bad.

How much green is in the picture?
BTW, 3rd floor walkup? Tell basil not to worry about losing baby weight. After dragging the kid and groceries up that for a couple years, she'll have an ass like an olympic cyclist.

Good to hear that you got a good deal Culp. I’m sorry that your former neighbors have hit hard times but sometimes people just can’t take it anymore. In my lifetime, I have witnessed families fall apart and people just don’t care anymore.
Now when the baby is asleep, you can watch enlarged porn.
As tv's are starting to die, you start seeing an overall green tint

This will come in very handy, of course, once the stairs provide Basil with the afore mentioned "Olympic Cyclist's Ass."

Only you, Storm..
and me..
Look at how much of a bitch just living in a house with stairs is, imagine a 3 floor walkup.
She'll be like Nadia Comanech, doing a triple dismount with a half twist.
