It's one of the two basic groups, of "Lawn care & vehicle maintence."

Usually women are honestly better at both skills, because they just pay someone to do it right when you're gone.

So she had a major crisis, the check engine light comes on, or service engine for this car.
I guess the nicer the car, the more they care. I'm usually more concerned in my truck when it doesn't come on.
Usually, they mean almost nothing, but with mbz, infiniti, and probably a few others, the computer tells you what it is. I tried to convince her it's just that a bunch of greedy gooks found a way to scare women into paying em $200 bucks for an oil change, but to only minimum relief, she still wanted me to check the oil. Meaning actually check it, not go my what the car says.

Here's where most of you are laughing. Hafuckingha. This is the worst dipstick I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot of them.

Now keep in mind, I've learned through experience, and started with the car in bright sunllight, with the sun overhead. No form of artificial light will do. I saw a mechanic once having a problem, and then start jabbering with his boss, and then the boss getting a flashlight, and then having to intervene, and put it back. If I wasn't there, they probably would have snapped the handle off & glued it in.

It doesn't seem like much at first, and it usually snares it's victims by looking simple

As most things like this goes, it comes out pretty easy

But then, if you're not expecting it, it's like "where did this thing come out of?"

You can see by the curve of the stick it's a bitch, and then when it's about halfway in, you have to manipulate it around something.

Can't guide it with the other hand, cause it blocks the view. You hhave to choke up to about the middle of the stick

They function as a sound deadening device. That's a use.

The sound dampening comment is kind of funny, since they tuned the exhaust so you can hear it. Otherwise, they sound electric.

The battery compartment in the upper left corner of the first pic is a major pain in the ass too,l since you can't fit the battery out of the door, and have to take a bunch of shit apart.

What I think my wife did was somehow turn the VDC on. The car is definitely cool, but just a tad too complicated. I have to admit, though, it's funny to push the wrong seat button, because if i hit my wife's preset, it's like being in a can crusher.

If you run into one at a stoplight, I wouldn't recommend racing it.

Easy on the common sense.

You'll cause an aneurysm.

hey function as a sound deadening device. That's a use.

Maybe on some other car, but I doubt it on this. It is just a piece of fancy plastic held on by a few bolts. It seems purely cosmetic. It doesn't even seem sturdy enough to direct airflow. Also makes it easier to find the oil fill cap.

So much for common sense.
