Basil, do not read this.
That was horrible. and I'm constantly reminded, because I drive by it every day.

That intersection is rough. When i lived in that neighborhood, I used to drive around the block, so I wouldn't have to cross the street right there. In a car.

I'm confused. Was Ruby Australian, or are Australians the only ones invited to this discussion?

Storm I am confused also...btw never heard of Ruby Gould was he Australian?
It was a kid from Australia that had a tragic accident. I guess they were here visiting.
The Register is probably trying to make it seem like it's bigger news than it is, although there was a TV camera today.
It was a lady, a niece, and a baby, walking across the street. The cars stopped for em, but then someone nailed one of the cars, pushing it into them.

That family is CURSED.
*Note to self, do NOT cross roads with any member of the Gould family.

I see. I Googled the story, but saw no mention of them being Australian.

It's a TOAO post.
Did ya really expect to? I think it was more about the corner.

The husband and wife from Bellmere, Australia had spent three years trying to get pregnant.
After Ruby was born, they spent every free moment with her, taking her camping on the beach, to music festivals – everywhere.
Ruby would sleep through most nights. When she woke up, she wouldn't cry, really – she'd make grunts and other baby sounds. She'd push herself up in her crib and grin at her parents.
Renee Gould, 31, couldn't wait to bring Ruby to Orange County to visit Renee's sister, Kylie Chuntz, and Kylie's husband and three young children.
It would be Renee's first trip abroad.
She had three goals to accomplish: Take Ruby to Las Vegas, to an Angels baseball game, and to Disneyland. Rob Gould, 29, would stay behind in Australia to work.
Lame Goals BTW.
And if anyone comes here on a vacation, DO NOT ride a bicycle. You can become a speedbump quicker than you'd like to think.

You fancy yourself as a poodle?
Not unless it likes peanut butter.
