The worst day was during my brothers wedding...poured for hours...it was a garden wedding so it was very sad the bride kept crying she wanted it perfect....I raced down to my mums as we had to put up a marque and flooring to try to keep things dry...they say its lucky to get married during rain so here's hoping.

We all got home to my place the kids, me, eldest daughters partner and my friend to find downstairs flooded, carpet ruined and most of the furniture....the rain has stopped today having time off cleaning up...most of the stuff downstairs was the kids area and all the good furniture etc was upstairs...however ruined none the less, saved a few photos and videos (yes videos) of when the kids were little....there is insurance for everything, but we can't replace the memories....heavy sigh....but as they say everything happens for a reason...so we keep smiling
