Bikini- and Speedo-clad tourists beware.

The Caribbean island of Grenada says it recently began enforcing an indecent exposure law banning bathing suits away from the beach, as well as saggy pants that reveal the underwear.

Police commissioner James Clarkson says violators are usually just ordered to cover up. But the law allows for a $270 fine or six months in jail.

At least a few locals are contesting fines.

Clarkson said Friday that cruise ships usually inform passengers of proper non-beach attire, but "from time to time, there is the one or two who take their chances."

He said a few months ago police ordered several tourists wearing swimwear at a fort to return to their cruise ship and put on some clothes.

I wonder if the tourists were grotesquely ugly or just had huge boobs spilling out everywhere,or even some dude with his junk showing. An island tourist spot, you'd think they'd be a little more lax with what folks wear.

Swim wear is for the water, not to be worn in town everywhere. It's just not proper.:squigglemouth:

Yeah right. Like we give a shit.:awink:

Try living in Hawaii!

There should be a limit to how HUGE ya make a bikini!

and also ban speedo men thongs! Just boycott them entirely!

If you pay extra for the fabric it takes to create your clothing....... bikini's and speedothongs are NOT for you !

When ya wear revealing swim attire.......... FUCKIN SHAVE ! hot wax.... something.... wear shorts even....

I say we invade Granada again. We will not stand for this. Our obese population have a right to wear their banana hammocks wherever they please.

Beach wear is for the beach, plain and simple. You don't need to wear your swimsuit to go out to dinner, unless it's a cafe on the beach.
