You'll have to be more specific man. What kind of mustard are we talking about? And on what kind of sammich?

I like mustard in small doses.
Mainly on hot dogs (on the bun or with beans. Mixing a spoonful of mustard makes it 10X better), soft pretzels, and pork products (ham sammich or even boneless spareribs from the chinese joint).
The type of mustard is just as important as the amount though. I'm not a huge fan of the generic yellow crap. I like the quality stuff that has actual mustard seed with flavor and bite to it.

A true mustard fan knows there is only one kind of sammich. One with mustard.

Yes, but the quantity of the mustard on a sammich must be determined by the flavor/texture it may provide & how it will enhance said sammich.

Ok,I'll concede to the fact you may have a point there.Let's say it's a sub, with ham and the usual stuff you would have on that sub.Could you have too much mustard on this sub?

Not if it was, say, a nice stone ground Dijon. But yellow? Yeah, there would have to be a limit.

That would be hard to do. Lots of mustard goes on a sub with the works.

Ok I can assume Stone that you LOOOOOVE mustard me too mustard is so cool. I do agree with storm though depends on the type of mustard and what you are eating I like lots of food with mustard or mustard with my food hell I even put it in when I make sauces and gravys. But depends on the mustard. My man and I were at the casino a couple of months ago and they gave him hot english mustard and he thought it was dujoin and you can imagine the result he put a heap of mustard on his prawns and neally died. Was scary shit.

I find that too much can hide the tastes of other stuff in the sammich, or whatever.
You have to be fairly careful with the English yellow mustard. That is pretty hot stuff.
Afterthought: Next time you have some tomato soup, mix in some English mustard. About a half teaspoon for a medium hot.

"English Mustard" is not quite what you think. It is a powdered seasoning made primarily of mustard seed.

Louisiana Hot sauce goes good in tomato soup.
Mustard is a strong condiment.
It's sounds kind of gross, must the mustard sauce for the chicken mucnuggets is great on the original egg mcmuffin.

I like mustard on an egg sammich. It's one of the few sammiches that warrant yellow mustard IMHO.

It`s not that we don`t appreciate it..I think it`s about quality..not quantity here.

I voted no....I love mustard. The yellow kind. Plochmans is my favorite, and the only kind of mustard I like...I don't do honey mustard, hot mustard, dijon mustard...only yellow.
