Hey asshole. I was giving you some good advice. Keep moving forward. It will help you keep your mind off of your current problems, as well as work towards improving your situation.
Sorry if that was too stupid for you.
Sorry that I tried.

As far as stress goes, there is no easy answer on how to deal with it. One way that helps most is to get plenty of exercise. Go for a walk. This helps to relieve stress levels.
Stay active. Don't just sit around the house feeling sorry for yourself chatting on the forums with people that really don't give a fuck.
Get involve in a local church group or something where positive people hang out.
Do something to help other people. It helps get your mind off your problems.
Last but not least. Talk to real people. Not someone that is on the other end of a computer.
Enough for now.
Hang in there like a hair in a biscuit.

Life is stressful there is no way around it. Rich or poor we all have it. You just have to choose to rise above it and find something in yourself to be happy about. If you can find that one small thing and focus on it, your outlook on life will start to change. Not all of us on the other end of the computer are uncaring people.

OK.
I deal by 'Sucking it up.' Dwelling on things, worrying about them, does nothing but make it worse.
It will also incite my rage, which reminds me all too much of my fathers. We can't have that.

Speak for yourself.Nobody really cares as much as the person with the problem. People always try to act like 'Mr. nice guy', but when it comes right down to it everyone is so consumed with their own life that they are just glad it ain't them.
Temporary Saint is right. It's just temporary.:squigglemouth:

Logic and experience is how I deal.
I`ve earned alot, lost alot, and try to learn a little something each day.
Resenting mankind helped temporarily, but learning to love and learning to manage the down- and- out- blues made it much easier. And made life more enjoyable.

I break shit, and listen to music.

First off, manage that stress.
Find some kind of outlet or release for it, preferrably one that does you no harm.
Example: I have a punchbag in my spare room. When things start to build up for me, I assault the bag, not punch it. I do this until my anger and frustration subsides.
Once your stress is managed, you can then look at your problems in a calm, rational manner. Stress and anger cloud your thoughts and reasoning, and make problems seem insurmountable.
The whole world doesn't hate you.
The whole world is unaware of you and is preoccupied with themselves.
Broke and no skill set ?
I cannot comment on the 'broke' bit, as I don't know if you have a job or not.
Regarding the skill set though.
You do not come across as brain dead, therefore you must have some skills. The difficulty comes with applying what you have to what is needed in the job market. Best advice here, is to polish up your abilities to sell yourself well.
Do you have access to 'assisted' training from local government, or anything like this ?
Try to have a 'can do' and 'will do' attitude mate.
Easier said than done though.
Contrary to some ideas, even though this is the net, I do care about people. If I was local to you, I would offer my help in any way I could.
Trouble is, it's a bit of a long swim from here.
Don't give up. That is the single most damaging thing to do.
I sincerely wish you well Culp.

You are wrong man. Believe what you like, but if you ask those who know me personally, I'm quite certain they'd inform you that Digital Me is Me, only digital. I honestly care about you people. As much as I do any associates I have in the 'Real World' anyway.
My response to Culp was honest, and in my opinion, sound advice. The same as I'd give one of my poker buddies.
If you misrepresent yourself to us, so be it. Just please don't accuse everyone else of the same duplicity.
Now, let's stay on topic like Culp asked.

I also like to remember that although times are tough for me, I don't have a family or kids I need to support, that no one is looking to me to provide, and there are many people out there who are in the same position as me with a lot more responsibility. Gives it a little perspective.

What is left of my punching bag, but thank you for the good advice, maybe I will try spotting semis! LOL
