I miss seasons.. whats it like where you are ?
Almost summer? Whats the summer plan?
What are you planning for your vacation?

We dont have seasons here. Dont have daylight savings either. Just same ole.. same ole every day .
Hawaii.. nice to visit.. not so much to live.( especially when your allergic to seafood and are a pasty red head w/ freckles)

To me, seasons are overrated. I was born and raised in Florida, we have a nine month summer and a three month winter at best. I like it that way. Green leaves are great, who gives a shit if there are no yellow or orange leaves? Not me.

I fucking HATE winter in the North.

Everything looks DEAD for about 4 months. Cold. Grey. Leaf less trees and shrubs. Looks like skeletons where life once was.

Then you have the muck after the snow thaws. Then the rainy season starts perpetuating the muck.

Then out of no where (due to cold snaps blowing through) it's Summer. YAY! Green stuff everywhere, birds chirping, critters running around and people actually doing something recreational.

All too quickly you have the pretty leaves of Fall.....falling off the trees to make way for the graveyard time of year again.

Fuck the 4 seasons.

Damn. I miss Florida right about now.

I concur with Nik & Stone. We get about 5 month of winter, and/or may as well be winter, here. And I fucking hate it. I couldn't go as far as Florida or Hawaii though...I'd go nuts without my Mountains.

I could handle North Carolina,Virgina... something like that. The winter here is too long. I do love the change of seasons though and could never permanently live for from here. Right now we are in that nice 70-80 degree's during the day, 40 - 50 at night. All the tree's are turning green and the flowers are beautiful. One of my favorite times of year.

WHEN Spring comes laughing By vale and hill, By wind-flower walking And daffodil,-- Sing stars of morning, Sing morning skies, Sing blue of speedwell,-- And my Love's eyes.
When comes the Summer, Full-leaved and strong, And gay birds gossip The orchard long,-- Sing hid, sweet honey That no bee sips; Sing red, red roses,-- And my Love's lips.
When Autumn scatters The leaves again, And piled sheaves bury The broad-wheeled wain,-- Sing flutes of harvest Where men rejoice; Sing rounds of reapers,-- And my Love's voice.
But when comes Winter With hail and storm, And red fire roaring And ingle warm,-- Sing first sad going Of friends that part; Then sing glad meeting,-- And my Love's heart. Austin Dobson
