We heard a lot, at one point, about piracy off the coast of Somalia.
Supposedly, it was just a bunch of "skinnys" taking on these ships in dingy's and making off with millions in ransom.
Seems there's some new evidence coming to light on what is really happening.
The perps are still the poor, young, blacks from Somalia but, it seems now, they aren't the ones ending up with the lions share of the booty.
It appears as though the action is attracting criminals from all over the globe, that it's being orchestrated from London and that the ship owners, themselves, are involved.
It's even being alleged that much of the 80 million has been laundered by organized syndicates in Dubai and other Gulf states.
I always wondered how a small band of men in a minuscule boat could not only board but bring a super freighter to a stop.
