Every year I rescue some sort of animal. This year, it was the golden retriever. I took someone to the pet store, and it was going out of business., and the lizard was going to get euthanized, so I got stuck. People say black people are afraid of dogs. A lizard as big as a dog really freaks the out.

I have a pic of a crow I rescued somewhere. It was a cool pet. If you ever run across a baby crow, soak dog kibble in water, and hand feed it. You will have the coolest "outdoor" pet.



This is a baby possum I found. It was cool, except for waking up in the middle of the night and not only wanting attention, but also being able to find me, and crawl up into my bed

This is the cat that lives outside that was born in my bushes.

And this is our old cat. Sometimes when she is jumping up on my amp, she accidetly his the volume. A cat suddenly getting hit with 50 tube watts is funny as hell.

It also runs when I bypass everything and plug straight into the amp, because it knows it's going to be loud as fuck.

It's also funny as hell to crank my shit up, and find out there was a cat sleeping behind the chair or something.


Unfortunately, that's not all my pets. I have so many pets that my pets have pets.

aww cute pets...ok cept that lizard thing...I'm white and it would scare me. ok fwiw blacks ain't afraid of dogs...I got TWO pit bulls.

Momma was a yard dog and the best breeder he had (I was not aware of that)...and when we went to see all the dogs because I needed an animal to love (so she was sort of a foster dog till her breeding days were done)...that one let out the saddest "love me, pet me" sound and when she wags her tail her whole body wags. Rhaja is my best animal. She has since had two more litters and and two non producing heats and is now retired....now she is no longer a foster dog but fully mine.

We also have one of the babies she had in the first litter...Quincy. Quincy and Mercedes (one of the female pups) had a rough go the first few weeks and I couldn't let em go for sale till I was sure they were ok. I lost my harddrive so can't find pics of mercedes and quinc as pups. Quincy is my devil dog and a 95-100lb lap dog that is still learning we don't chew things. He at least understands I am alpha and does what I tell him.

Lucky my male cat I rescued from the backyard (took me three days to convince him to let me get near)...he was 24 hours from dead, undernourished, dehydrated, two infected eyes and loaded with fleas. He got to keep his boy parts as long as he didn't spray (and he never did)..but with that meant he was gonna roam and get out the dog door every chance he got. He disappeared about 4 months ago and has not come home...he was a tailless manx...since then four kittens were tossed out in a bad rain storm and three were rescued...one of the three had no tail...guess Lucky got lucky anyway we now have a new rescue named mokka (one of the other two sibblings rescued died and the fourth was never found)

ok so here are my animals not counting the three (75 gal, 150 gal, ad 250 gal) tanks of fish.

ok sorry with the last computer not transferred yet all I have is momma and mokka on mokka's first night here.

I have only three animals now. A big bitchy cat named FoxyBrown, a miniature pinscher named Anubis and a papillon/chihuahua mix named Batman.

My wife hated the lizard for the longest time, but what won her over was one day it climbed up into her lap and laid an egg.

One time it was laying eggs around easter, and we had candy eggs around the same time, so I licked the speckles off one, and planted it for her. We she found it, she said "oh look lucy laid another egg," so I said "oh cool" and bit it in half. The look on her face was classic.

I was sad when she died, but at the same time, relieved. It's bad enough when the dogs and or cats, ocassional possum crawl in to bed with you, but not only did she have rough skin and sharp claws, she was also cold.
