Gas prices will be going up again due to refiners cutting back supplies.
Too bad there isn't a damned thing we can do about it. The rest of the world is still enjoying steadily declining prices, but apparently America doesn't have enough space to store the excess all of a sudden.

Them greedy bastards. They have the government and Obama by the balls. See if Obama is as tough as he thinks he is and do something about the gas companies gouging the hell out of us.

If people did but realise it, they hold the ultimate power with regard to most things that affect them.
Trouble is, they are too preoccupied with their own concerns, and are far too willing to ignore the obvious. Damned sad really.

The problem is people finally stopped using so much gas when the prices skyrocketed and in return, the refineries cut production to raise prices because of lack of demand.
You use more gas, it costs more because there's no supply.
You use less gas, it cost more because there's no demand.
I'm willing to start "ride sharing" in horse-drawn carriages at this point, but you know they'll raise the price of feed for the horses and charge you a tax for exceeding the amount of methane production from the horse shit.

We still need to make it to work everyday , and do the grocery shopping, pick up lil Harry from soccer etc... We need the gas... we will pay regardless. Gotta "keep up with the Jones's" , bullshit.

So now, if we want prices to go down, we need to keep demand down until they run out of room to store it, but...
The oil companies won't sell it unless they recover their investment cost of $70 a barrel.
This should get interesting. Meanwhile, prices continue to rise. This is the best time to stick it to OPEC and the oil companies, but will people sacrifice for the greater good?

You may be willing now, but in time, you may not have a choice.
